- Stainless Steel Pot for Dyeing

Time: 30 Minutes

- Fill dye pot with enough hot water (roughly 200F) to submerge the bottom half of the purse, roughly 1-2 gallons.
- Wearing rubber gloves, shake Rit bottle really well. Pour half a bottle (1/2 cup) of dye into dyebath and mix well.
- Immerse bottom half of the purse into dyebath and continuously pull up and down for 5-10 minutes with tongs to create a smooth gradient.
- When desired color is achieved, remove purse from the dyebath and rinse just the dyed area in warm water, then gradually cool.
- Wash your purse with dish detergent and let it dry.
